Dental Care

Dental health is an incredibly important part of your pet’s health.

Our Services

Dental Care

At Foothills Animal Hospital, we believe in educating our clients about the importance of dental health and care for their pets. Regular examinations, cleanings, and daily at-home care can protect your pet’s teeth and improve their overall health.

Dentistry

Bad breath, plaque build-up, excessive drooling, sore or bleeding gums when eating or chewing, and decreased appetite are signs that your pet’s teeth may require veterinary attention.

Here at Foothills Animal Clinic, we take your pet’s oral health very seriously because we know that dental disease can be associated with other serious health problems such as heart disease and kidney disease. Our highly skilled team of doctors and staff will examine your pet’s teeth and gums to help determine if there are any dental issues you should know about. After the visual examination, we may recommend a more detailed examination (which requires sedation), a dental cleaning, tooth extractions, oral surgery, or options for at-home dental care.

Even if you think your pet’s teeth and gums are okay, we can offer expert advice to help you keep them that way. Regular dental checkups for your pet are just as important as they are for you. We want your pet to live a long, happy life, and we know that maintaining a healthy mouth is a part of that.
